I am so sorry for this huge loss of your daughter to this demon called suicide. I lost my 'baby' brother Gerard Nov. 6, 2004,gsw head, he was 46. Although he is my brother and not my son, I know the pain is horrible.The daily struggle to be happy and productive is hard on and off but eventually will deminish. The stigma of suicide makes us stronger and more compassionate loving people. My 'new normal' still feels ackward but the 'old' me seems like a dream. Be gentle and good to yourselves. I pray God gives your family guidance and strength every day. One moment at a time.....

I briefly met you guys at the Retreat but my friend Irma spent a good bit of time with you. You have created the absolutely most beautiful memorial for Jessica I have ever seen. I know a little bit about the uncomfortable factor too. You are very strong and beautiful people and my prayers are with you as with all the parents I met.
