Time does not heal, it hurts today as it did that awful day he left us. But I have realized on this long and painful journey that it only hurts so much because having him was such a joy. I decided that the only way to avoid the pain would of been to have never known or loved him. So since the joy and love were so great I must feel the pain to be able to keep the joyful memories. In your beautiful site, with the depth of your parental love exposed I pray the message Jessica's loss will impart is that suicide is a permanent solution to temporary problems. I pray that other hurting young people will remember your loss and pain and will not want to leave that with their own families and will find a way to live past the pain until pain passes. I wish you hundreds of feathers to sustain you. Jade |
